Swing

Swing is a short 2D browser-based, clock-swinging game.

The controls are simple: Space-bar to swing.

When running on itch.io, you may need to click anywhere on the game before it registers key presses.

This game was made for the 'Gaming Like It's 1923' game jam:

• The concept is based on the 1923 silent film 'Safety Last'.
• The music used is a midi version of Charleston by James P. Johnson (sheet music written in 1923).
• The graphics are a mix of publicly available images and original images

This was written from scratch in JavaScript; no external libraries or frameworks were used.

In the spirit of public commons, you are free to remix/reuse any element of this game with or without credit (MIT License).
